The Forris roof cargo bag is a soft aerodynamic cargo bag that is universal and user-friendly. The roof cargo bag is a great alternative or additional transport option that allows you to take additional cargo on your holiday or to simply create space inside the car for a more comfortable journey. The Forris roof cargo bag is ideal for almost all kind of cars, 4x4, SUV etc. with the exception of convertibles. Depending on the rigidity of the particular vehicle thereof rack can either be placed directly onto the roof of the vehicle or can be used in conjunction with a conventional roof rack, inflatable roof rack or roof rails. There is a soft fleece surface embedded into the base of bag that allow the user to place the bag directly onto the roof surface without scratching the paint surface. All bags include aluminium base beams that allow the bag to be suspended on a roof rack. The aluminium platform create a sturdy and rigid base for loading heavier items and also create a bigger displacement area for distributing the weight of the content of the bag. As a rule of thumb, the weight of the cargo and bag should never be more than 60kgs. It is advisable to peruse and consult the owner manual of each car or consult the car dealership to determine or establishing weight bearing limit of particular car. The aluminium beams are also removable. The fabric of Forris roof cargo bag is weather resistant / repellent but an additional internal rain cover is also available. The height of the bag and the overall space of the bag can be increased by simply opening the expandable zipper located in base of bag. This is a useful function since the bags height can be adjusted according to user’s space requirements. The Forris roof cargo bag also has a lockable zipper and Metal D-rings that enable the user to lock the bag to a roof rack or car. An option wireless vibration alarm is also available as an optional extra. The wireless vibration alarm is placed inside the bag and activated via a Remote control when the car and bag is left unattended. When any movement or vibration is sensed the alarm will trigger at 120 decibels. The bag included 4 harness straps. There are 10 different harnessing positions located on the bag that enables the user to utilize the most ideal harness positions. There are 3 on each side and 2 in the back and in the front of the bag. There are 10 carry handles located on the bag. The bag can either be packed in advance and then lifted onto the roof of the car or the bag can be pre-installed before loading it.
