Facts about this grass:
broad leaf
evergreen throughout whole year
quick growing with deep roots
ability to spread and grow through runners and take over existing plant growth
no brown patches
no need to pull out existing grass
ideal for S.A. climates
already been used for fodder by farmers only needs one planting
farmers mix it with legumes and other seed spreads coverage up to 40sqm
easy for a fairly fit person to grow from scratch
clear area of unwanted debri and rake well
mark off area 5 meters by 5 meters
put seed into a bucket and mix in with the little fertilizer supplied with seeds
spread seed over marked off area and cover with light layer of soil 0,5cm thick
topsoil is best but you can use any soil over the seeds to stop birds eating them
cordon off the area with tape to prevent damage
water twice a day for 15 minutes for 3 weeks
will need work, attention and watering for the first 3 months
takes up to 6 months to be drought and frost tolerant - eastablished
18 days after sowing mow at 6cm high removing 1cm
for best results use fertilizer 4-5 weeks later
store grass seeds in an airtight container
